It Badu Technology Tea

That Badu Technology Tea, developed in partnership with Erykah Badu, is Cookies’ inaugural herbal non-psychoactive mushroom tea. The tea is a blend of vanilla and bergamot black tea leaves that are decaffeinated and packed with CBD/5mgCBG to reduce stress and promote relaxation.

Badu wanted to empower women through this collaboration. Her song, “On & On,” along with her desire to empower women in her fans inspired the name and terpenes profile of this variety. Ideal for morning rituals, or to help focus throughout the entire day.

Badu’s outspoken advocacy of cannabis is well known. She has even had a brand name of weed named in her honor! Furthermore, she’s supported numerous cannabis-related causes – from doula services to working towards attaining her medical marijuana license in Texas.

She emphasized the benefits of That Badu to women and mothers, promoting it in her YouTube video. She suggested that it was an ideal strain for improving mood and focus. She described the effect as uplifting and not heavy or sedated, adding that it is ideal for nightly meditations.

Cookies developed and nurtured this strain in partnership. Its parentage includes Limoncello or Lemonchello 28, crossed with Jet Fuel Gelato Genetics to create an indica hybrid with uplifting effects. Leafly states that the citrus flavors give it uplifting properties and the jet Fuel Gelato genes provide fruity notes.

Badu’s Apple Tree line differs from other celebrity cannabis brands in that it offers more products than just accessories. The Apple Tree collection has edibles as well as flower, ranging from pre-rolls to 8th packs. She’s also offering a Mother’s Day Gift Box that includes two types of psilocybin infused teas (Ginger Magic, Earl Grey Creme), along with functional flavors such as Bergamot Brain Boost and Golden Focus.
